OXFORD PLAYHOUSE 'ROBIN HOOD AND HIS MERRY BAND'

In 2021, I worked collaboratively with Amanda Hambleton and Wayne Martin to make the Sheriff of Nottingham's costume for the Oxford Playhouse's 'Robin Hood and His Merry Band' Christmas Pantomine.

The designers Amanda and Wayne created a fantastic design which really enhanced the characteristics of the Sheriff.

This project was a fantastic opportunity to work alongside Amanda in a professional theatre production. Having this experience allowed me to understand the working environment of a costume interpreter in the theatre industry.

From this project I was able work alongside Carol Childs in the costume department. This consisted of altering/repairing costumes, helping with fittings and a professional photoshoot. I thoroughly enjoyed this experience which has enhanced my passion for theatre costumes.

It was also a privilege to watch my costume on stage and have my name in the programme.
