1/2 TAILORED SINGLE BREASTED MORNING COAT 1860-1900S

In 2020, I completed my first project in tailoring. I have experience in the construction of menswear and tailoring.

Working with a woollen fabric allowed me to learn how you needed to care for and iron the fabric. The tailoring stitches were interesting to learn about, challenging at the beginning but I definately feel more confident with it now.

Only making 1/2 morning coat allowed me to understand all the construction techniques of a full coat. From tailoring I have learnt how precise and accurate you need to be in order to produce a perfectly tailored coat.
