CYRANO DE BERGERAC

For my final major project at Arts University Bournemouth I had the opportunity to make the costume for the character Count Antoine De Guiche, designed by Katherine Haynes Hoszkiewicz for an AUB production Cyrano De Bergerac.

The costume was a flamboyant doublet and breeches inspired from the 1640s era. The doublet and breeches included a large amount of trimming and accessories.

This project allowed me to work collaboratively with the designer, supervisor and other makers. Whilst also working with actors and performing fittings to enable the fit to be correct and reach the designer and directors wishes. I thoroughly enjoyed this experience and it was amazing to see my costume on stage.
